Dear participants:

The Second International Society of Radiology Virtual Congress formally finishes on Friday, April 24. However, the always improving new technologies give us the chance to keep enjoying the contents presented as they will be posted on the ISR Virtual Campus (www.isrvirtual.org).

The Virtual Congress has gathered more than 2,300 participants from different countries; 40% more than the First Virtual Congress. We thank all the participants for their support and participation.

A very interesting fact that is worth mentioning is the great number and diversity of nationalities of the registered participants. It is really thrilling to see that every day the most distant and different countries – from the central ones, to the smallest, most distant developing ones – are connecting with each other. Bringing together and delivering quality material to people in different countries all around the world is one of the objectives of these types of projects and together we are accomplishing it.

We would also like to thank all the lecturers who delighted us with 38 excellent Refresher Courses that attracted participation in the Discussion Forums. It is also a great satisfaction for us to have had specialists from different nationalities, which shows the truly international character of the ISR.

Likewise, we would like to thank the international radiological community, which contributed actively with excellent interactive radiological cases and electronic posters.

Once more we would like to thank you all for your participation and hope we can meet at the 26th International Congress of Radiology in Shanghai in 2010, and virtually at the Third International Virtual Congress of our International Society of Radiology.

Until then…

Sincerely,

Dr. Donoso Bach
